 Whatís Happening in September!!!

On (Thursday) September 11, the Branson Veterans Task Force is hosting the 9/11 Branson Remembers event. It is a very moving and touching ceremony.The guest speaker at this event will be Sgt. Maj. Tony Rose. He was a ground zero survivor or the 9/11 Pentagon terrorist attack.It will start at 8 A.M and is located in the back parking lot behind the Grand Palace, under the American High-rise Monument. Next we have (Friday) September 12 and (Saturday) September 13, The Branson Collector Car Auction located at the new Branson Convention Center down by the Branson Landing. There will be hundreds of cars auctioned off throughout the event, and even if your not looking to buy, its still good event to go too. Maybe you will see an old car you use to drive; nothing like strolling down memory lane. For more information on this event, contact 800-335-3063.

Friday 10A.M. to Noon.††††††††††† Saturday 8A.M to 10A.M.

The Auction will be:

Friday at Noon.††††††††††† Saturday at 10A.M.

Then on September 13 and 14, Compton Ridge Campground is hosting the Compton Ridge Fiddler's Convention. Its three days of nothing but fiddling and having the time of your life, so if you play or enjoy fiddling this is the place to be. (Not to clear on the dates because I check the site and it said itís the 18th, 19th and 20th. For more information on this event, contact 800-233-8648.

September 18 through the 21 is the 35th Annual Autumn Daze Arts & Crafts Festival in beautiful downtown Branson. Over 150 crafters will be at the event.Free Admission and Entertainment. This is one you wouldnít want to miss. It opens 9 A.M. to 6 P.M Thursday through Saturday, then on Sunday 9 A.M. to 4 P.M. So if you love the Crafts and the Art then you need to stop in here. Iím sure you wonít be disappointed. 

Also on (Saturday) September 27th itís the 10th Annual Hollister Grape and Fall Festival. This is a fun event for grape stomping and craft viewing and buying all kinds crafts. Sojoin in on the event or just to go and have a good time.The event starts at 10 A.M. Call the Chamber at 334-3050 for more information.

ADDED!  Johnny Mathis is going to be at the Mansion Theater the 26th (Friday) and the 27th(Saturday) of this month. There are seats still left both days for this event. First ten rows (Gold Circle) - $89. NOTE: Not sure if any are left in this section.

Lower Level and Mezzanine - $77. NOTE: Still good seats here.

Balcony - $66. NOTE: Still seats here but if you can not walk well or donít like steep steps then I donít suggest the Balcony wonít be a good place for those reasons. For more information and details call 417-239-1333.


And finally September 11th through October 25th is National Harvest Festival at Silver Dollar City. This is a fun event. From awesome craftsmanship to wonderful musicians this will put you right at home in the Ozarks.For more information call 800-475-9370.
