 What’s Happening in December!!! 

Merry Christmas!!!

Santa has come to town!!! On December 13 (Saturday) is Santa’s Workshop downtown Branson and it starts 10am to 4pm. Children 12 and under are invited to tell Santa their secret wish and then have their picture taken with him. The kids may also head over to the workshop where they can decorate cookies and make an ornament to take home. So don’t miss out on seeing Santa. For more information contact (417) 334-1548. 

Celebrate Christmas with Branson's 60th Annual Adoration Parade and Lighting Ceremony will be down town Branson as pervious years before. It is on December 7th (Sunday) and to get a good view of this awesome parade I would subject to be lined up on the either side of the street at 5:30. Different places down there are still open and serve cookies, brownies, and hot chocolate to keep you all nice and toasty. So don’t miss out awesome bands, floats, candy and SANTA! Next is the Enchanted Forest Light Display that starts November 1 (Saturday) to December 31 (Wednesday). This is the only light drive through display that is free to drive through and is home of the “Freedom Tree” from dusk till midnight. So if you love Christmas lights display I suggest you drive through this one. In the past we have and different times at night you can even see live deer walking around. Another drive through light display is the Trail of Lights at Shepherd of the Hills. This starts November 1st (Saturday) to December 31st (Wednesday) open 7 days a week from dusk till midnight. Now you will travel through a variety of different lands, each with its own theme and holiday music, from fantasy to religious to patriotic. Life-size (and some larger than life) three-dimensional characters have their own housing so you can peek in on the fun happening inside. Admission costs $8 per adult and children 4-16 are $4. Who can forget Silver Dollar City’s “An Old Time Christmas” that beginnings on November 1st (Saturday) to December 30th (Tuesday). Come see over 4 million dazzling lights with all new surprises and more! The beautiful huge Christmas tree in time square along with the sing along Christmas train, a Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol”, the Christmas Parade that goes through the park at different times through out the night, and many more.
